Benefits of Inversion

Whether you work out on a regular basis, are a top athlete, garden, sit at a desk/are on your feet all day, or lie on the couch watching TV eating bonbons, inversion is your new best friend to a happy healthier life and body.

The benefits are so incredible that I believe every home should be equipped with an inversion table, preferably a Teeter’s Hang Up of course because they’re the best on the market.  Almost everyone can use inversion and benefit from it.  However, there are some exceptions so make sure you research this before purchasing one.

Inversion therapy is typically known as a method to relieve back pain. However it is also successful in reversing other negative effects that gravity has on the body such as circulation issues, height loss, prolapsed organs and general body functions.  In addition, research has shown that many people using a Teeter may significantly reduce their need for  back surgery by over 70%.  Now that’s incredible.

Inversion can also be used as a proactive/preventative approach to help maintain overall health which is my first preference.  Regardless if you live an active lifestyle or not, using inversion on a regular basis is one of the best things you can do for your entire body both physically and emotionally.

Here are a few of the benefits inversion is recognized for helping:

  • Reducing back pain
  • Relieving stress and muscle tension
  • Stimulating circulation and lymph flow accelerating the cleansing of blood and lymph fluids
  • Reducing cellulite
  • Improving posture
  • Strengthening ligaments
  • Increasing flexibility and range of movement
  • The body stretch and align itself

And as we grow older, inversion helps reduce the effects of aging caused by the Force of Gravity such as: Height/posture, functional fitness, prolapsed internal organs allowing them to resume their normal shape and place in the body, increasing oxygen to the brain thus reducing mental deterioration, and relieving varicose veins.

For those who workout, inversion is an incredible tool to assist with recovery time. Athletes prone to stiffness or muscle spasms after a workout can benefit from the lymphatic wash provided by inversion.  Intense muscle activities cause a buildup of large amounts of lactic acid and carbon dioxide, which results in sore muscles.  The faster this waste is cleared, the faster the pain and stiffness disappear.

Honestly, I can’t say enough about inversion. It has positively changed my life allowing me to do whatever I want to do without limitations. Plus it is the best method I know for relieving daily stress.  When I hang upside down I let the stress flow out of me, breath by breath, vertebrae by vertebrae.  After a few minutes, I feel renewed and relaxed.

Are you ready for a much healthier version of you?  If so, look through the inversion models on my site and choose which one is right for you.  It will be the best investment into your health!  And so it is…
