Releasing Unwanted Creations

Posted on September 25th, 2008 in Law of Attraction,Spirituality by Connie

Most of us wonder if it is necessary to clean up unwanted past creations in order to manifest what we now want through the Law of Attraction. The fact is the LOA doesn’t require clean up of anything we previously created. All we have to do is choose to let go of the resistance we are holding onto about the unwanted creation. Then we allow ourselves to flow closer and closer towards our new desire from where we are right now.

We can witness this firsthand by watching nature as it unfolds each spring with new plant growth bursting through the previous years growth as it reaches towards the sunshine. It doesn’t require clean up of any past years plant debris to grow and thrive. It simply thrives in the now letting nature take care of the past as it was designed to. There is no need for any care or worry whatsoever…nature is just there for us to observe, enjoy, and appreciate. This is evolution at its finest!

Sounds easy enough for us to do also, doesn’t it? It actually is that easy once we understand releasing resistance and focusing on what we want, knowing it is ours. But for most people it is not this simplistic. Even though they want to release the resistance and all of the bad feelings associated with the unwanted creation they cannot.

The reason for this is that they are focused on what they created in the past rather than living and creating in the now. They have chosen (by default) to replay those past limiting negative thoughts over and over in their mind to the point that they developed into a limiting belief. Beliefs are simply developed by thinking the same thoughts over and over. So you can choose to change any belief you want to – really – believe me.

So now what? You know your unwanted creation doesn’t feel good and you want it to stop – right NOW!!! Pleassee… It would be great if those feelings of utter frustration and pleading worked but they don’t, they only get you more of what you do not want because the LOA responds to energetic vibrations not words or cries for help. To change this cycle you must first understand & accept that your negative feelings (contrast) are actually a very good thing because they have caused you to know exactly what you DO NOT want which is half of the creation process and the starting point to knowing what you DO want.

Contrast is your friend. It is a natural flow of the creative cycle and equally important as knowing what you do want. Without contrast you would stop creating which is impossible. There is no need to try to create contrast or try to stop it from coming into your life. Simply allow it to gently flow in like a wave and then ask yourself “So now what is it I DO want?” Then listen…for the answer.

In order to shift your vibrations and feelings towards what you NOW want you must first choose to let go of the old limiting beliefs you created and practiced for so long. It is as simple as letting go of a rope in a tug of war. When you let go, all of the resistance goes with it. Poof – it is gone!

Now it’s time for a new perspective. From where you are right NOW spend time imagining how you want things to be in your life or in a particular situation. Then close your eyes and visualize having it that way, focusing on the positive feelings that come forth.

You don’t have to pretend it is the way you want it to be. Just simply practice change your perspective by telling the new story you imagined as you talk to different people. As you continue practicing your new story your positive feelings will grow shifting your vibrational energy into greater alignment with having it.

To further assist you with alignment start each morning choosing to be happy and blessing everything and everyone around you, especially negative people and situations that flow into your day. Blessings are perfect gifts we choose to give others regardless of behaviors and circumstances. The more we bless others the greater alignment we experience with our true inner beings.

Practicing this daily, subject by subject, for one week, then a month, will dramatically transform your life right before your eyes. This is the part of the LOA I love so much! We are all empowered to change everything and anything we want when we choose to and practice our new creations!

While you are practicing this process of becoming a more deliberate creator you may at times feel immensly frustrated and even say, “Hey, I was better off the way I was when I didn’t know and choose what I was creating. Now I feel worse than before!” Don’t lose heart! Be easy about it and love yourself through this process.

It takes time to flow naturally with this the same as anything else you practice to be proficient at. And you must know that you cannot make any wrong choices for yourself. Everything is always a destined part of your personal experience and expansion. Be at peace with where you are at, all is well and is unfolding perfectly. And so it is…

New Perspectives About Weight

Posted on September 4th, 2008 in Connie's Chronicles by Connie

I wanted to share this very funny story with you that happened to me yesterday . It made me laugh all day long! And since it did I must share it. It may help with your alignment just when you need it. So here goes:

I was in the grocery store shopping for specific foods to lose some of the weight I had gained since being married this past year from eating foods I usually don’t eat & eating more often than when I was single.

Anyway, this gal walks up to me and says “Hi, I just wanted to say something that women don’t say often enough to each other. But first, I want to tell you that I am married and have kids. I am a normal woman not some weirdo. You have the greatest shaped butt I have ever seen. When I looked over this way I saw you and thought, ‘Wow, she has something going on in that trunk!’ So I had to come over and tell you that you have it going on in that butt of yours. It is absolutely beautiful!”

Then she pulled up her hospital uniform in the back and said “And look at mine, I just have this weenie butt with no shape at all. So I just had to share my thoughts with you because we women never tell each other things like this. We usually just walk by being jealous of each other.”

At first, I was shocked, then, started laughing so hard. I thanked her for her observation and then told her that I was actually at the store to purchase foods to decrease this butt of mine. How funny is that! I said “I have had to buy bigger jeans due to not being able to get my old ones over this round curvy butt.” Then we laughed together and she went on her way.

Now for the Perspective Differences:

My Perspective
Prior to this, I had never experienced weight gain issues due to a good metabolism, eating pretty well and not eating sweets. My philosophy has always been that I eat to live not live to eat. So I was very unhappy the day I decided to purchase new jeans because of my weight gain. I had been putting it off hoping to drop some weight but it didn’t happen. It got to the point that the jeans I was wearing were so tight I couldn’t bend to sit down! I was so uncomfortable and unhappy about this every day.

In addition, my underwear didn’t fit anymore either. So I had to buy new ones. And this is not an easy task for people with voluptuous butts let me tell you! I think most women’s underwear are made for people without butts because mine never stay put, they always ride up over my round cheeks. It is exhausting always tugging them back into place. I even tried the thong panties but to me they are like giving myself a snuggie from the start – highly uncomfortable – at least for me with round cheeks. So now I own a LOT of underwear that don’t stay put. I even thought of not wearing any undies at all… maybe I’ll try that next.

I also focused my point of attraction on my entire wardrobe of beautiful clothes that I could not wear due to my weight gain. The bottom line was none of my pants went over my butt so I had to buy new jeans to have something to wear. I even called my friend Arlene when I got home from shopping and shared my dismay with her about my new larger jeans. I told her that this was a new day in the history of my life, one I was truly not happy about. She said “CJ it’ll be fine, don’t worry about it.” Ya, sure ‘ya betcha!

Every time I looked in the mirror I sighed with disappointment in myself for gaining weight. I even started to blame my husband Taner for continually trying to stick food in my mouth that I never eat. He eats some foods I chose to eliminate years ago from my diet such as white sugar and fried foods. In his country of Turkey, it is a kindness to share food with others.

Then one morning I decided to change my perspective knowing I was getting more of what I did not want by focusing on it. I finally took responsibility for my weight gain and started the work of loving myself again. Every morning I looked in the mirror naked and said, “Connie, I love and approve of you and every inch of this body, cellulite and all. You are a beautiful loving woman.” Then throughout the day every time I passed by a mirror I would say the same thing. This exercise is taken from Louise Hay’s book ‘You Can Heal Your Life.’ She teaches us to truly love ourselves, setting the example for others to love us. This is the first step to aligning with our inner beings. So over time I began accepting my weight gain and simply loving myself. Day by day I felt my vibrational energy shifting in the right direction. Simply put, I felt better about myself by practicing better thoughts and a new perspective.

My Husbands Perspective
Taner loves my butt! He thought I was too thin before and felt like he was going to break my bones when he hugged me. So he doesn’t want me to lose weight at all. In fact, he walks by me daily, grabs my buttocks and says “Here is my beautiful lady, I love this butt!” So I can’t be mad at my husband who loves me from the inside out, now can I?

Law of Attraction Perspective (LOA)
Loving ourselves and others is the foundational key to aligning with our inner being. When we practice this consistently our lives are joyful and optimistic with our desires manifesting more easily. In addition, we are more capable of allowing others to live their own experiences without our negative input. Love also releases us to live the life of freedom that is the basic tenant of our being as Abraham states. Then we flow with the universe creating incredible things!

A visual example of this would be turning on a garden hose full force then bending it in half. This stops the flow of water (goodness) from one end while the water pressure (frustration) builds up on the other end. Sound familiar? Then when we choose to let go of the hose the water slowly flows again making its way through the kinks until it is free flowing.

In closing, we each have the freedom to choose or change our perspective AKA point of attraction for each situation in our lives as I did about my beliefs of food which led to weight gain. In fact, if I would have practiced love, allowing my husband to be who he is, instead of resisting & trying to control the situation I wouldn’t have gained weight in the first place.

I did not tend to my vibrational alignment by paying attention to my negative feelings early on. So if you have an area that doesn’t feel good to you perhaps you could choose to practice a new perspective rather than the one you have been practicing that makes you feel bad.

I can tell you from experience your energy and circumstances will shift because the LOA is a universal law that attracts like to like. Then you will feel good again releasing the flow of goodness in your life…and so it is.

Great Health Starts in Your Mouth

Posted on September 3rd, 2008 in General Health by Connie

Poor Dental Health Makes You Old before Your Time

There are a few things about oral hygiene that people who are genuinely concerned about their health should know. First: red, swollen gums, bad breath and loose or missing teeth are just a small part of the price you will pay for either neglecting or not understanding the importance of caring for your teeth and gums each and every day.

Second: your mouth is literally the gateway to your body’s overall health. If the gate is allowed to fall into disrepair, there is no way to keep unwelcome intruders out—and unwelcome intruders can wreak all kinds of havoc. Internal systems and organs can be damaged. The aging process speeds up. Mortality rates rise. In pregnant women, it even affects the health of the baby: pre-maturity and low-birth weight have both been linked to mothers having serious teeth and gum problems.

Third: brushing your teeth twice a day is not enough to protect you from the ravages of poor oral health.

Where it Begins
The mouth is a natural breeding ground for bacteria, and unless the bacteria are controlled, they proliferate. Inside our mouths we produce a soft, white substance called plaque. Bacteria thrive in plaque, feeding on leftover food particles and creating acid as a by-product. The acid eats into tooth enamel. At the same time, the bacteria pour out volatile sulfur compounds that cause bad breath.

As the plaque bacteria grow, they calcify or harden into tartar, an even tougher substance with even more potential for causing problems. The bacteria that thrive in tartar are more dangerous than those that grow in plaque—they produce toxins that move beyond the teeth, irritating and inflaming gum tissues. After the gums become involved, the bacteria next move into the bones and structures that support the teeth. At this point teeth start loosening and may eventually fall out.

All the while this is happening, dangerous bacteria and toxins are moving deeper into the body. They enter through damaged blood vessels in the gums and then travel throughout the circulatory system. Studies have shown that damage from this process affects immune and arterial systems as well as pancreatic function. According to a new study by Emory University, people with gum problems have a mortality rate as high as 46 percent above that of people with healthy gums.

What to Do
Brushing your teeth properly and flossing are obviously important, but have you given serious thought to the oral hygiene products you use? Anything you put in your mouth can be absorbed directly into your bloodstream through the mucosal lining inside your mouth—even if you never swallow. According to the Physician’s Desk Reference, oral absorption can be up to 90 percent efficient. This means that the contents of your toothpaste or mouthwash may impact your health in ways you never dreamed.

Many oral care products are loaded with synthetic chemicals, some of which have been shown through research to have a negative impact on health (see “Dangerous Chemicals” below). Do you really want to try to prevent damage by using products that contain questionable ingredients? Or would you rather use safe, natural and effective products that have been proven in studies to discourage the growth of bacteria?

Young Living’s Thieves Dentarome toothpaste (Code #3737) is formulated with pure, natural ingredients such as vegetable glycerine, sodium bicarbonate, ionic minerals and steviocide (a natural, intensely sweet extract from a tropical plant native to South America). In addition, Dentarome includes an exclusive formula of uniquely antiseptic and antimicrobial therapeutic-grade essential oils that combat the microorganisms that cause plaque.

Thieves Dentarome Plus (Code #3738) contains much the same formula as Dentarome, except it has a higher concentration of therapeutic-grade essential oils for extra antiseptic action.

Thieves Dentarome Ultra (Code #3744) Ultra strength with whitening using natural papain from papaya extract. Kills microbes responsible for plaque and bad breath using patented time release liposome technology. Contains the same essential oils and other YL toothpastes. This is my favorite along with many others due to it tasting more like regular toothpastes, making it an easier transition to natural.

KidsScents Toothpaste (Code 3687) A 100% safe & natural alternative to commercial brands, fluoride free, containing no synthetic dyes or flavors. The FDA has acknowledged that fluoride, when swallowed, poses significant risks to children. Perfect for children of all ages. Contains essential oils of Peppermint, Spearmint, Orange, Lemon, & Thieves.

Thieves Fresh Essence Plus Mouthwash (Code #3683) uses an exclusive formula of medicinal-grade essential oils that contain compounds clinically proven to kill the bacteria that can cause bad breath, plaque and gum diseases such as gingivitis. No dyes, saccharin, aspartame, preservatives or alcohol are added. In addition, Fresh Essence is formulated with a revolutionary patented liposome technology that binds the essential oils to the mucous membranes inside the mouth. This enables the essential oils to remain in the mouth for extended periods of time for longer-lasting, germ-killing and breath-freshening protection.

FYI: The latest studies are showing mouthwash containing therapeutic-grade essential oils to be more effective in oral care than even flossing. This is primarily due to the essential oils penetrating mucosal tissues and getting below the gum line to kill bacteria where floss cannot reach.

Decide Today on a Course of Action
Healthy teeth and gums are more than cosmetic—they can influence the health of your entire body. That said, the choice is up to you. You can ignore your teeth, and they will go away (they may take your health and longevity with them). You can brush and floss daily with products containing synthetic ingredients that can harm your health. Or you can follow a consistent program using products that are safe, natural, and have the added benefit of making your mouth a place where dangerous bacteria don’t stand a chance. Which do you choose?

Dangerous Chemicals Commonly Used in Toothpastes
Sodium Lauryl Sulfate—Researchers have known for years that SLS (sodium lauryl sulfate) can irritate the skin. In fact, SLS is used as a laboratory standard for inducing contact dermatitis. Keith Green, Ph.D., D.Sc., of the Medical College of Georgia reports that “exposure to SLS results in accumulation in eye tissues, a process that could retard healing, as well as have potential long-term effects.”

Yellow dye #5—Consuming this food additive can cause severe asthmatic breathing difficulties by boosting leucotriene release. Yellow dye #5 also interferes with the body’s ability to utilize vitamin B6. Other compounds such as fluoride can be hazardous to children. The FDA now requires all fluoride toothpastes to carry the following poison warning: “Keep out of reach of children under six years of age. If you accidentally swallow more than used for brushing, seek professional assistance, or contact a poison control center immediately.”

What people are saying about Young Living Products . . .
Thieves Dentarome Plus (Code #3738)
Jerianna Newby has experienced problems with her gums since childhood. It got so bad that her regular six-month dental checkups always ended on a note of concern. Then her best friend introduced her to Young Living and recommended that she try Thieves Dentarome Plus.

She did, and Jerianna’s next checkup was a positive experience. In fact, her dentist told her that in the ten years she had been seeing him her gums had never looked better. He even asked for her phone number so he could refer patients who might also want to purchase Thieves Dentarome Plus.
