What to Eat While Cleansing

The body was originally designed to detoxify itself and maintain a healthy thriving environment for us to enjoy. However, with today’s technology and lifestyle we are exposed to unbelievable amounts of harmful toxins that have overloaded our bodily systems to the point that they can no longer keep up. This has resulted in our body storing the toxins in fat cells.

Now I am dating myself, but do you remember the I Love Lucy Show where Lucy was working on the conveyor belt packaging bananas? The conveyor kept speeding up until she couldn’t keep up with it so she started stuffing bananas in her mouth and then her clothes to keep up. Of course, in the end she had bananas coming out her ears and falling all over the floor. It was hilarious!

This is a great analogy of what we force our bodies to do on our behalf without realizing it. However, the only difference is that our bodies make a way to store the toxins to keep us going until it can no longer do so. Then health symptoms develop to clue us in to what’s happening internally.

Our bodies are incredible! And when they are cleansed, they are able to maintain a healthy state of being – naturally. So as you can see, continual detoxification is vital to your well-being on a daily basis.

And the best part is, more and more health benefits are realized with continual detoxification. I recommend that everyone cleanse for a minimum of three months to initially experience the wonderful changes taking hold in your body and overall health and wellness. Then decide to make this an ongoing part of your life.

After all, you’ve spent years of your life building the toxic waste level you have right now. So I suggest being patient about the amount of time it takes to clean your body out.

To increase your results, choose to eat healthy organic greens and colorful veggies and fruits. Choose to eat the foods along the outside aisles of the grocery store, avoiding all foods in the middle.

The foods in the middle are the highly processed foods that put more toxins back into your body thus making it acidic again. Processed foods have nothing to offer you nutritionally or in any other way. They mostly feed the harmful organisms residing in your body, but not the real you!

In fact, processed foods are so nutritionally deficient that they trigger your cells to call out – ‘Feed me I am in need of more nutrients’. They want more food because they didn’t get the nutrients from what you just ate. This is the primary reason people are overweight and why they experience hunger shortly after they just ate.

FYI – Did you know that when you eat organic fruits, veggies, and foods you don’t need to consume as much due to your cells actually receiving nutrients from them? How cool is that? This translates into eating less, weighing less, and having more energy. And you are totally in charge of it all. So choose wisely and receive the benefits.

In no time at all you will thrive instead of stuffing bananas in your shirt or skirt and smelling ripe. And so it is….
